Bobby and Danny Ricketts stand next to the waterwheel they excavated over 2 years ago. It has finally came to its final resting place.

Chisty Hicks, the owner of the Beavers' Mill property, stands with her mother and nephew. She was glad to see the discovery on display.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Beavers traveled from North Carolina to visit the exhibit. The original owner of Beavers' Mill, Maj. William Beavers, is Vernon's Great-Great-Great-Grandfather!
It was very exciting to meet them on this special day.
The Beavers' also have some of the original ledgers for the grist mill. We will be adding images of these in the near future.

The Carter family from Midlothian, Virginia came to visit the waterwheel exhibit. We enjoyed talking with the Carter's. Pictured are L to R - Grayson, Jerry, and Beth Carter.
