On Saturday December 3, 2005 Drew Gladwell, an exhibit designer from the Virginia Historical Society, came to Campbell County to pick up the water wheel and the artifacts. Drew, his dad, Danny Ricketts, Joey Ricketts, and I carefully packed up and securely loaded the pieces to the water wheel on the truck.

We sure were lucky they brought a 16 foot truck. As you can see some of the boards stretch all the way to the door!
